The news media seemed to be gleeful because Swine Flu cases were on the upswing in Baja California in 2008/9.  Whether Swine Flu was or will be a problem world-wide is pure speculation.  Facts are that Mexico took swift, decisive action and the "Mexidemic" just didn't happen this year.  Whether it will return is anybody's guess but we can always count on the news media to blow it all out of proportion.  Click on the picture for more Associated Press information about how Swine Flu MIGHT return in the next flu season (Fall 2009 through Spring 2010).

Have you ever asked yourself, "Self, what's with this whole Swine Flu Epidemic?  Is real or total nonsense??"  If you will click on the Grim Reaper to the left of this paragraph, you will be taken to a blog that might enlighten you about just how 2009's Swine Flu scare stacks up in relation to the total number of Influenza-Related deaths per year worldwide.  Some would even say that the 2009 Swine Flu Epidemic "scare" was overblown.  Judge for yourself.

Who says the Swine Flu "pandemic" has caused Rosarito's tourist business to suffer?  Take a look at the traffic jam out front of LaJolla on a recent Saturday.  The NE corner of our parking lot's freshly-painted surround wall can be seen at the bottom left corner of the picture.
