Much of the delinquent dues collected was
spent on property improvement projects such as a complete paint job for both towers of La Jolla. Other projects included
some needed improvements and repairs to balconies and exposed surfaces to siding that DECASA generously agreed to "fix".
For instance, we used the opportunity that was given us by the repair to the balconies to accomplish a complete paint
job on both Tower I and Tower II and to strip, sand and repaint all balcony railings and replace all outside balcony
lights.

Here we can see the paint stripping and surface preparation
operation that preceded the repainting of all balcony railings. While the stripping process was just a bit messy most
of us managed to bear the inconvenience.
